From Interior

Literally.
As ive got hooked on Carolee Schneemann and another female artists in the feminist art movement of the 60s and 70s. I envy those ones who could have seen that performance Interior Scroll (1975) in flesh. I guess watching her naked body, striking several poses whilst she was reading aloud from a paper scroll which she slowly extracted from her vagina had to be.. well, at least unusual!

I'd like to get some of her books or essays once... and that's all for the last November's post!

IF EVERYTHING'S GOING BAD

... so ... I'm going bad as well!

It all began reading one article about ballet (related to that check this link out - don't skip the intro, it is absolutely thrilling - ICON company - ive had no clue something like that kind of "company" providing such a variety of "services" actually exists!). Then charmed by some crazy experimental videos from Fernand Léger and Man Ray on youtube... and here we are! I was referred to one of my favourite movies "Daisies" (1966, by Vera Chytilova)! Ended up back in Czech, haha.

So tired of fearing, so tired of dark
So tired of fearing, so tired of dark
Send me and angel, save me!

David has been always kinda my personal jesus. .

I think I'll have to find the way to the White Lodge - to finally find a peace ?

YOU ARE A TARGET

Does it often seem to you that you are being targeted? Either by the outer wolrd or by the consequences of your own behaviour and decisions?
Then the only thing you can do is to breathlessly wait which part will be struck. The closer to the center/core the more it hurts.
The scale of my most delicate and touchy 'components' being attacked would turn out like this:
6" self-respect 5" integrity 4" independency 3" self-esteem 2" self-confidence 1" stability

This season is               overwhelimng          &           beyond               my control.

   autumn/london/parklife
- not sure how should I put these expressions above into the right order according to their unique and crucial  role
- however, what I know for sure that all of them together are one of those things I've been blown away by when I've been passing through a colourful park with a chill breeze in my face

russian deviation

Well, after Motorama's album "Alps" which has been one of the best albums of 2010 I spent last night searching for a new music and broke into another russian post-punk new wave generation..

Manicure. One of those which kinda strike a chord with me!
Another crazy thing here:

At least, you don't get bored.
ciao!

DAEDELUS
Has always been my thing. Their 2011 released album "Bespoken" is another genuine treasure in their discography. This song "Penny Loafers" stroke me in particular. Despite no official video nor lyrics found just listening to the music is like a heaven. This is absolut WOW for me.
// Another thing. My creepy creepers has been delivered today. They are so crazy. But I totally love them !

Venus of the Rags

- or another Michelangelo Pistolleto's masterpiece for the second time at this blog. But this time presented as one of my drawings I've finished at Tate Modern today.
This is the first step. The colouring will take part in the second part.

Freezing Cold

It was really freezing cold last weekend at Frieze Art Fair. Well, to be precise, it was cold there outside in The Sculpture Park. As the day started with a sheer soft sunlight it eventually turned into a proper fall day. After a few hours spent drawing and taking photos in there I left with frozen fingers and a runny nose.
But it was worth it! A brief preview of what you might have seen there this year..

The pictures below dispaly the work of Eva Koťátková & Petr Koťátko titled "Lost And Found". That was something I was particularly curious about to see.

Nostalgia Era

I'm aware of the fact being a crap blogger last weeks... nevertheless, that't the way the things go at this time. - simply getting inspiration and material there outside - that should mean that I'll have something to share with in the future (?)

At least let's have some fun in the meanwhile and look back at the last decade. . .
The question might be how many years have to elapse before a past decade's style stops being passé and starts being cool again?
I'd say a minimum of 18 years.
The 90s are SO very cooool, hah !

20111010

I've heard and read about it a lot. So I need to see it. Alongside with another exhibiton the V&A is finally gonna be my ultimate aim to be seen this week.

// I just took a notice of today's magical date. - 1 1 1 1 - the four magical ones. Cool stuff!

U Scared ?

Well, I am. A bit. The future is always a little bit scary, isn't it?

After a few weeks break of publishing I've gained some time to share something with the virtual reality. Yet nothing essential has happened recently. It just seems to me as though I'm dying when I'm falling way too tired straight to bed some days. - Falling together with all of my ideas which appear to be covered under the first layer of autumn leaves...

Nevertheless, the Fall is so much inspiring and thought-provoking season. I'm so fucking glad it has unbeatably come!

IT MAKES ME WANT TO FLY

Instead of going to bed I was awaken by coming across these photos. They were taken by Anka Zhuravleva . Maybe you've heard about her maybe you've not yet. Well, I haven't until this moment and now I know I've missed something. This stuff is super surreal and I (not) only wonder what do you need to do to obtain such an amazing gems as these are.

So, stay awake and watch at least this brief preview...
