REFLECTIONS II.

Reflections of absurdity.

The absurdity of Prague shop window displays.

20130411

First mix by DJ duo PandasInWaterfall, created by my little part itself, finally online.

Mainly a minimal-synth short set of songs by current artists that have been largely inspired by cold synth & analogue sounds and the dark side of 80s music.

REFLECTIONS I.

First few photos from the shooting with my dear SOVA
Even though it supposed to be a fashion photo shoot I've found more of the photos actually working better in different scopes...

Time flows just faster than we would like.... It was a real pain in the ass to deal with some things recently but I'm done with it and it has all gotten better  recently. So let's  move forward!
Guess it need some celebration. A destructive one!

"Destructive Celebration" by Silent Signals is one of my very best songs... Love that kinda shogazey screaming voice at the beginning. Overall - just great. It will definitely appear on my DJ set this Friday. Going back to my hometown after the last gig in Berlin where I was DJ-ing for the Director Lounge Festival one night will be a nice change with all the old friends around.

Keep watching

I am trying to keep watching the buzzing world around me. Even though it sometimes appears to me that I've the ability to observe things unbiased and my point of view might seem to be only black & white... Yet I still manage to realise the world happen to be in colours. One just needs to dust himself off and gest back to the clear vision.

Any words needed? No, I guess. This was one the best gigs I've ever been to. Not exaggerating at all! Travis Egedy aka Pictureplane in Prague at K4 club! I feel pretty lucky as I saw him performing back this summer and 3 weeks again! He's amazing musician and DJ. His shows are really worth it! Hopefully see him soon!

Thank you, Travis! <3

I/M/M/I/G/R/A/N/T/S

A few photos of the event held earlier this month.
The Immigrants - I/M/M/I/G/R/A/N/T/S (check their fb site and watch some youtube viedos here)
Very pleasant and so perfectly done music. I'm lucky I know these nice guys and amazing musicians in person. I was also honoured to watch them twice - first time in Chapeau Rouge, Prague (where these photos were taken) and then in my hometown Tabor. The show and the atmosphere there was even much better and I really enjoyed their show. Thanks!
Keep up the good work and best of luck with your music guys! xx.

TNGHT

Tonight a big night. My and my dearest friend Zuzka wanted to bring some culture to our hometown, so here we go. So Prague's great Girls on Drugs are coming here and then followed by two very talented guys from Tabor called Flower's DJs and then us - Pandas In Warefall.

I worked on this flyer hard. And even harder on our playlist.
I want it to be MANIC.

CRAZY FULL MOON

It's a crazy thing. This so called Full Moon was staring at me last night so boldly through my window.  It was sneaking its hazy light just right onto my bed where I was trying to fall asleep. Of course it didn't let me to do so for a long time. And when I finally managed to drown in the dimensions of dreams, it sneaked even in there! Crazy stuff I was dreaming about...

This Full Moon is weird. That's for sure.
And the world goes crazy and I guess we can blame the Full Moon.

Bits and pieces from my observations during the last months of summer.

Not only human beings can be sick of what they see and observe.

The sky doesn't stop being fascinating every single day.

(this speaks for itself)

Destrucional and destructive things - bad. Yet sometimes so wonderful and enjoyable - why?

Sometimes you have to deal with the fact that things are either black or white.

Chelsea Wolfe

In these times of PROHIBITION (yes, not joking) what I do not miss is the musical inspiration. What I do miss is some extra free time. In spite of the prohibition, there is still plenty of nice white wine, exhibition openings and amazing people to meet up. I do really enjoy this way of living which gives me the sense of being truly alive, nevertheless, as a consequence of that, when I finally get home time to time I do not have the power for everything I would love to. But I still do have the power to go through my fav music blogs and keep digging.... and I always do dig up something.

There's is a new acoustic song of californian singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe. I came across her couple of months ago via ROOM205. This song is so desperate, raw and honest... Can't wait to get the whole acoustic album Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs.

// next time hopefully some photos

I'm SIC(k)

Have been experiencing my little personal revolution and exploring new dimensions while listening to this 1980s Belgian Underground New Wave Post Punk Band called SIC. Fell in love with the tune after first listening. Have to dig out more interprets like this asap!

/// Another thing I fell in love is this photo. Even though I can be very critical about myself I've been stunned by the atmosphere of this picture, which was taken by my dear B. Thanks x.!

CREEPINESS no.2

After a year Im coming up with a similar post again. A few moments of Creepy Teepee 2012.

This yeas it was...definitely different. And definitely awesome. Again.
( It was probably mainly caused by introducing to Travis aka Pictureplane, haha (I guess the blessed impression of my face at pic #3 talks for itself.) ))

(#5, yes, not every day was beautiful, but who gives a shit about weather? especially when Maria Minerva is about to sing! (pics #6 and 7. She was so cool!)

And finally me and my favourite outfit there (I simply had to post it!) (unluckily I was lucky enough to have that jumper for like and hour, as it actually wasnt mine. love the colours though!!)

Sunday in Heaven

I feel I want to start off the first August post with something special. with something whats precious to me. So a bit my favourite Bear In Heaven seems as the right choice. I fell in love with this band immediately as I heard their previously released album back in 2009. After three years, when they've come up with this year released I Love You, It's Cool I wasn't sure about the perfectness of that one. Nevertheless, it was only until the moment I saw them performing in my own flesh back in June. Standing just by the stage and almost feeling Jon's sweat drops on proofed me that this band and the second album is pure geniality and that they'll stay in my ears/head/heart forever.

(and their T-shir I got at that gig is probably my most favourite part of the outfits these days). And my favourite song here:
